Broke Horses

Not for sale. Pedro is a gentle mule who has been trail ridden in the Black Hills extensively, packed and worked cattle. He has been roped off a little in the pasture also. 

Runt is his barn name, he is a 15.3H working fool, very broke for ranch work and trails.  If you want a solid horse with a good rein and leg cues to go any direction he is your guy.

Ranger is a 14.3H beginner friendly ranch and trail horse. Easy to get along with for any level of rider in any direction. Roes better with shoes,  he is a smaller footed horse.

Cutter has been trail ridden and used on tge ranch some. Could use a little tuning as we havent used him much this year. Requires light maintenence xrays available.

Seasoned ranch horse and trail horse, quiet to handle, easy to catch , very tolerant of his rider and wants to please. Suitable for most levels of riders. Pennybags has an old tendon injury on his rear left  that happened in June for now he would be suitable for light riders and flatter riding. Can't guarantee he will be 100% sound but we believe he should be manageable with light maintenence. 

Cody has been used trail riding,,on a cow calf and feedlot operation , some 4H and playdays and is a solid all around gelding. Suitable for intermediiate and up riders.  Light maintenance. Xrays available.

Playboy is a finished cutting horse as well as a seasoned heel horse. We tried to make him a ranch horse and he's great in branding pens, sorting and shorter gathers but he is not a big circle type horse. Easy to get along with and the same everything you pull him out.  Playboy requires some light maintenance xrays available.

Gus has been ridden by several youth and adult riders trail riding and working cattle. He has worked in the feedlot and on tge ranch, has pasture roped and been doctored off of.  Suitable for all levels of riders.

Not currently for sale. Mack has been well started in the arena and  used extensively on the ranch. He is an athlete and is ready to be someone's go to ranch horse, arena prospect or trail buddy.

Goose is a 15.2H solid built gelding used in the feedlot, trails and cow calf. He has pasture roped and moves out when asked or he has a job and walks level headed and steady on tge trails. Works off your legs well and is ready to go to work. Located in Newcastle Wyoming.

 Mari has been ridden by all levels of riders, she has been trail ridden and been ro town in parades as well as used in youth riding lessons. She is a level headed mare and likes to walk out. In foal to registered mammoth jack for 2026.

Whisky has been ranched on and hauled heeling and calf roping . He is handy and would be best for an intermediate uprider.

Lollipop is a gentle well broke gelding , he has worked cattle, been hunted on in the bighorns, he rides level headed and   is suitable for any level of rider.

Bobbi is a solid working ranch mare,. She has been used on the ranch, pasture roped and doctored, drug calves to fire,, sorts and gathers well.  Shs has been used roping and on barrels and poles and knows her way around them. She has a big walk and is suitable for intermediate and up levels of riders. Not an intermediate your pocket type horse but handles well and knows her job.

Sister is a gentle little mare used mainly for trails and she raised a few babies. Suitable for intermediate riders on up. In foal for 2025 to a mammoth jack.

Beastlee is a solid ranch and rope horse. He has worked the ranch and trail ridden. He is a handy horse and he knows his job. Beastlee is best suited for intermediate and up riders.

Marvin has been used on the ranch and trail ridden all over the Black hills.  He is a beginner friendly handy working ranch  type horse, suitable for all ages.

Super sweet, quiet draft cross gelding. Well broke trail horse and used on the ranch.  He's not your top sorting horse but he will go all day, get the job done and be beginner safe doing it.

Dusty is a seasoned ranch horse and has been used in the arena cutting, sorting and working cowhorse. Well broke and handy for intermediate and up riders.

Not for sale . Winchester is a working horse through and through, he's been used extensively on the ranch.

Not for sale currently. Judy ia a seasoned trail mule, packs and rides for any level of rider.

Not for sale currently. Cash has been started on the head side and has been used on the ranch and trails quite a bit. He is a steady solid horse suitable for most riders.

Used on the ranch, feedlot and trails.  He is handy and has a working horse disposition and will work all day and have more to go at the end..

Gunner is one we raised, he has been started slowly and is ready to go any direction . Bred in the purple and ought to excel at whatever you set him out to do. Grandson of Annie's Lil Pepper x docs hickory/ docs jack sprat.

Currently not for sale. Jack is a home raised, old soul type gelding, born broke and gets better every day. He is being used on theranch and trail riding.

Blackjack has been used on the ranch and trail ridden extensively in the BlackHills. Suitable for most any level of rider.

Nova is a solid built mare and has been used as a dude ranch  trail horse and raised a few colts the last few years. Would be suitable for intermediate and up riders. Exposed to black registered mammoth jack for 2026.
